Hi, I'm Andrew Wildes—a Christian, husband to Jhennell, and dad to Madison and Malachi.

I’m passionate about the profit and the process of growing into a mature Christian.

This blog is born out of the understanding that a meaningful and rich Christian life comes from:

1. abandoning the idea that we grow through some magical process; and

2. doing in faith the things the bible says will bring us closer to God. 

My inspiration

• 2 Peter 1:5-7, which calls us (not merely to comfort ourselves about the many precious promises of God, but) to put in real work to grow because of all God has secured for us. It says:

⁵ For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge,⁶ and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness,⁷ and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.

My Aim 

I want to challenge and encourage you to remember that knowing God is so important it is worth everything we can muster. 

With that in mind, I aim to give you as many tips and tools I come across to help you pursue God.
